What is Robotic process automation (RPA)?

Robotic process automation is software that repeats the clicks and keystrokes a person would make in an application, so routine tasks run automatically. It is useful for older systems that have no API to connect to.

Why it matters for your business

RPA automates repetitive work in legacy tools without replacing them, freeing staff from copy-and-paste tasks and reducing errors.

Example

A desktop flow logs into an older billing system every morning, downloads the previous day's invoices and posts them to the accounting system.
