What is XAI (explainable AI)?

Explainable AI, or XAI, covers methods that show how an AI model reached a result, such as which factors most influenced a prediction. It makes AI decisions understandable to the people who rely on them.

Why it matters for your business

Explanations build trust, help teams spot mistakes and bias, and matter in regulated areas such as finance, healthcare and hiring.

Example

Next to each churn-risk score, a dashboard lists the top reasons, such as fewer logins and an unresolved support case, so the account manager knows what to address.
