What is Machine learning?

Machine learning is a branch of AI where software learns patterns from historical data and uses them to make predictions or decisions, instead of following rules written by hand. The more relevant data it has, the better it can perform.

Why it matters for your business

Machine learning handles problems that are too complex for fixed rules, such as forecasting demand or spotting unusual transactions.

Example

A model trained on two years of sales predicts next month's demand for each product, helping the buying team order the right stock.
