What is DevOps?

DevOps is a way of working that brings software development and IT operations together, using automation to build, test, release and run software reliably. It covers practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code and monitoring.

Why it matters for your business

DevOps lets teams release improvements frequently and safely, and recover quickly when something goes wrong.

Example

Each code change is tested and deployed automatically, servers are defined in code and alerts reach the on-call engineer within a minute of an outage.
