What is React Native?

React Native is an open-source framework, created by Meta, for building iOS and Android apps with JavaScript or TypeScript and the React library. It renders real native interface components, and teams that already build web apps in React can reuse much of their knowledge and some code.

Why it matters for your business

React Native lets a company share skills and logic between its website and mobile apps, shortening delivery time and making it easier to staff and maintain the product.

Example

A SaaS company with a React web dashboard builds its companion mobile app in React Native, reusing its API layer and validation logic across both.
