What is Wireframe?

A wireframe is a simple, low-detail layout of a screen that shows structure, content and key actions without final colors or images. Teams use wireframes to agree on how a product works before designing the details.

Why it matters for your business

Wireframes make it cheap to explore and change ideas early, before time is spent on visual design and code.

Example

Three wireframe options for a dashboard home screen are reviewed with users in one afternoon, and the clearest one moves into visual design.
