What is Power Fx?

Power Fx is the low-code formula language used across Microsoft Power Platform, most visibly in Power Apps. It works like Excel formulas, so business users and developers can define app logic in the same language.

Why it matters for your business

Because it feels familiar to anyone who uses Excel, Power Fx lets business teams adjust app logic themselves, while developers handle the complex parts.

Example

A single Power Fx formula hides the Approve button unless the current user is a manager and the request total is under budget.
