What is Data pipeline?

A data pipeline is an automated series of steps that moves data from where it is created to where it is used, cleaning and combining it along the way. Pipelines run on a schedule or in real time.

Why it matters for your business

Pipelines replace manual exports and spreadsheet copying, so dashboards, AI models and other systems always work from fresh, consistent data.

Example

A pipeline streams new CRM leads into the warehouse every five minutes, so the sales dashboard is always current.
